No tan rápido!
"A few weeks ago with the RE7 info blowout, several sites reported on what they played of RE7 and one of them mentioned callbacks to previous RE titles including a picture of the Arklay Mountains. About a week ago, it was also mentioned in some magazine's preview that Alyssa Ashcroft from Resident Evil Outbreak wrote an article in-game about the missing people in Dulvey. Now, some files have leaked from the game and it spoils a certain someone you may all know.
The most nefarious and most well-known villain from RE himself:

As you all know, Dr. Lester appears in Resident Evil Outbreak File#2 in the Flashbacks scenario as a nigh-invulnerable stalker enemy. Not only is that scenario set in the Arklay Mountains but it is also Alyssa's main scenario. The similarities in RE7 are also apparent as the game features both regular infected enemies and nigh-invulnerable stalkers you can fend off just like Dr. Lester. To add to that, just like how Alyssa gets flashbacks during this scenario, you also get flashbacks in RE7 in the form of cassette tapes. Also, just like how he takes care of his wife who he thought was dead, Ethan is doing the same thing in RE7.
The answer was staring at us the entire time. RE7 is actually about how Albert Lester is still alive and passing the torch to Ethan Winters!"
